Perfect, Ash. We always get emails asking about the relative size of different bags.
So here we have the Louis Vuitton Galliera, displayed by Ashley Tisdale. She is about 5' 3" tall, with a relatively small frame.
I am so interested in Ashley Tisdale's choices in bags. I mean, I've said before- she's got a great Louis Vuitton collection, and clearly is a huge fan...
But aren't her picks interesting? I mean, she doesn't necessarily choose the hottest- newest released bags. In fact, often she ends up with the classics- great bags that have been around for a while but don't get much play anymore in her circles in LA. (Think her most recent favorite- the Muliticolore Alma, as well as the Louis Vuitton Multipli-cite and last Christmas' Louis Vuitton Musette).
Anyway, I think she's got a great eye for functional, and yet stylish bags... but doesn't just go for what a stylist or magazine tells her will be limited edition, soon to be released and hot this season. I like that!
So, I think the Louis Vuitton Vavin GM is another perfect example. The Vavin is a great tote... a really nice size. It can fit the scripts you need to read or any other paperwork, or bottles and diapers- or pretty much whatever you want to tote around. OK, Ashley must really love her Louis Vuitton Multipli-cité, because quite frankly... she's all over the blogs, and while she's got a ton of LV, she seems to be favoring this little wardrobe staple over other really great pieces. In fact recently... I hardly seen her carrying anything else.
And have you noticed? Take a look at the pics- it's like she's doing all she can to make sure we get a good picture- not of her... but of the bag! Don't get me wrong. The Multipli-cité is a fantastic bag! It's big, roomy and let's face it, I can use all the pockets I can get!!! But it just seems that her bags are almost "product placement". I mean, I'm not saying that LVMH is paying Ash to wear their bags, but maybe she wants it to look that way?

Again- it's like these Disney Channel Divas all wear the same bags (think Ashley & Vanessa Hudgens). The truth is, I like the Miley's complete look- and it works with a strong shoulder bag, like the Musette. But, Ashley's wearing it messenger style- and it's a great, young look. OK... What is it with these High School Musical girls and their killer Louis Vuitton collections??? In fact, Vanessa Hudgens' little 12 year old sister has more LV than any of my friends... but I digress!
So what do you think? You know- I can't really play these games! I always see them in magazines, and feel sorry for the person who had the unfortunate bad luck of picking the same dress as Angelina Jolie!
I know it's no fun... but in my book they both win! That's the cool thing about great looking bags, and fabulous shoes- they pretty much look fantastic on everyone!!! (Don't get me wrong- you see them worn with the wrong thing all the time- but they're harder to screw up than high waisted pants, for example!)
So Vanessa & Ashley have picked an incredible bag! They are both wearing the Louis Vuitton Embossed Stephen. It's a SUPER soft, luxe embossed leather, beast of a bag. Trust me, it looks EVEN better "in real life"!

Wow Kate! We know you've been around forever- and you've recently been through the ringer with relationships and all. You may have gotten your Keepall when you first got into the business. It has sentimental value- or whatever. But let's think about this carefully:
The Louis Vuitton Monogram Keepall 55: a fantastic travel bag. I mean, this is a true duffle. You really can stuff it well, but it isn't a hard case, so if you don't pack it too full, you can use it as a carry on. This poor old bag has served her purpose. She looks so tired, poor thing. She needs to be retired- laid to rest in that comfortable spot on the top shelf at the back corner of your closet.
Now, I know it isn't right to compare- but check out hot High School Musical's Ashley Tisdale looks with her fresh 55 Bandouliere (the same bag, but with the strap):

I've outgrown The Disney Channel for the most part (admittedly- I do love Even Stevens more than my kids do... and the whole High School Musical thing is like a train wreck to me...
