I’m actually not making any kind of political statement here! I’m loving following Election 2008 so far and am looking for purse/fashion related themes from all of the candidates!

Anyway, I just noticed a pattern that I thought I needed to share with some of my bag loving friends here on my blog!

So you’ve got Halle Berry in her Obama for Change shirt with her Gustto Big Baca Satchel. It’s a nice look- I mean, it’s hard to find pictures of Halle where she ISN’T looking hot.

Then you’ve got Kim Kardashian in her Obama for Change shirt with her (discontinued) Louis Vuitton Ambre Neo Cabas. Say what you want about Kim- but even in such a casual ensemble (including what looks like a sports bra), she’s scorching!

So what do you think? Brilliant strategy! Get a hot celebrity to wear your shirt- have them pair it with a killer bag and tell me you’re not going to get noticed by a huge and powerful segment of the voting population: purse lovers, old and young!

Hmmm… so here we go.  You know I always feel kind of bad playing this game- especially when one “player” obviously looks better than the other.  But this one I can do!

So, what do you think?  Who is wearing the Louis Vuitton Multicolore Keepall 45 better?  Unapologetic, amateur sex tape star and semi-celebutante Paris Hilton, or Unapologetic, amateur sex tape star and semi-celebutante Kim Kardashian?

I’m definitely more into Keeping up with Kim on this one.  Her Juicy track suit looks great with her skin-tone AND all the pinks in the multicolore.  That Keepall is striking and the vachetta looks fresh.

Paris looks like she needs an upgrade.  I know it’s a dark picture, but the leather on her bag  looks like it’s been around the block a couple of times.  (Which I guess makes sense, for Paris’ luggage.)   We’d love to help her out!

We have an authentic, pre-owned white multicolore Louis Vuitton Keepall 45 (the only size Keepall available for the Multicolore line) on eBay right now!  It’s a gorgeous bag with a ton of pinks and purples right up front where we like them!

Of course, Paris could pick up a new Keepall down the street, at the Rodeo Louis Vuitton for $2000 (well, I guess till yesterday when they unveiled their latest price increase).  Unfortunately, it’s sold out on Eluxury right now.

So my little pick of the week this week is the Louis Vuitton Monogram Stephen! Why is this your pick of the week, you might ask? Oh let me count the ways!

1. It’s a good, huge, slouchy bag- and you know I love that!
2. I love a bag that can be easily hand held- but has a shoulder option (I often am holding a kid in each hand!)
3. Along the same lines- I also like a shoulder bag that I can actually wear with the strap crossed over me- messenger style, so it won’t fall off my shoulder when I’m holding those kids’ hands… or holding that paperwork… or that portfolio etc.
4. It’s ohhh, sooo versatile! Let me show you how great it looks in a myriad of situations…

You can look fabulous on your trip to the gym like (help me out here… is that Nikky Hilton?):

You can look sharp running errands, like Kim Kardashian:

Or wear it to compliment my usual dress of choice- Mommy Chic- like Melania Trump!

If you want to go a little dressier you might want to try the leopard Stephen (a monogram bag with gold and leopard accents)… like Solange Knowles (Beyonce’s baby sister):
