OK… so, we’ve played this game before.  Name that boutique with three clues.

1.  Here I am last month… blue skies, but sweater weather for me.

Louis Vuitton Venice

2. The fleur quatrefoil that we know and love from the Louis Vuitton monogram has roots in this European city.

Venetian Quatrefoil

3. The giveaway… bad picture- it had been a long day of sightseeing!!!

Me in Venice

(Hmm… as a secondary quiz- what bag am I carrying???)

Name That Boutique… Louis Vuitton #4

Once again… a little game I like to play here on my blog. I travel a lot, and always stop by the local Louis Vuitton Boutique.

So I give you three clues, and you guess where I am!

1. Here I am with my two girls:

Louis Vuitton Boutique Barcelona Spain

2. There is a Louis Vuitton workshop very, very near here- in Barbera.

3. The architecture in this city is absolutely amazing. Gaudi was from here and his Casa Mila is just a block or so up from the boutique. Here it is:

Gaudi's Casa Mila
(Casa Mila from the top of our open top tour bus- am I a cheesy tourist or what!!!)

That last one was a real give-away… (at least if you can find your way around Google!)

Name that Boutique! Louis Vuitton #3

OK… you know the drill. I travel a lot. If I can do a little shopping while I’m there, I can write off the trip! (At least that’s what I tell my husband as my excuse for spending my sightseeing time at the Boutiques!!!)

So, I like to take a picture outside- and give you a couple clues to see if you can guess where I am!

Here we go…

Clue #1. Here I am-

Clue #2. This Boutique is in a little country with the highest Gross Domestic Product per capita in the world.

Clue #3.

We took our kids to the fabulous public park here (that’s it pictured above) and saw more “Luxe” bags than I have ever seen outside a VIP event or opening! (There’s double meaning in this clue, but it’s true… authentic Louis Vuitton, Chanel, MJ, Balenciaga- at the park.)

Free shipping on any one of our FASHIONPHILE eBay listings till the end of February for the correct answer to this one!

Send me a picture of you in front of a boutique! I’d love to set up a “Name that Boutique” round for you here on our blog!

Name that Boutique! Louis Vuitton #2

Thursday, January 3rd, 2008

Well, this little game was so much fun last time, I thought I’d put up another!

Again, the rules of the game:

I travel a lot, and since I sell luxury bags for a living- I always check out the local boutiques. In fact, I will go out of my way to drop into Louis Vuitton if I’m in the area. I’ll give you three clues- to see if you can guess which boutique I visited- (this one in October 2007).

  1. This is me and my daughter in front of the boutique.
  2. Here’s another pic of me in front of a great statue of a notable personality from this town!
  3. Here’s the real giveaway!

Hmmm… any guesses? We have a free shipping coupon for the first to email in with the correct location!

I’m going to post more of these every so often- but… we’d love to use some of yours! Just send me your pictures in an email at sarah@fashionphile.com, and I’ll come up with some clues and add you to our blog!

REVISED:

Congrats Terry!!! This is the Dublin, Ireland Grafton Street Store!

OK… I thought this might be a fun little game. I travel a lot, and since I sell luxury bags for a living- I always check out the local boutiques. In fact, I will go out of my way to drop into Louis Vuitton if I’m in the area.

So, I thought I’d give you a little test- to see if you can guess where I am in pictures with the boutiques that I visit. This is from a trip in May 2007.

I’ll give you three clues!

  1. That’s me below-on the right, with my sister in law on the left and a great friend in the middle…

  2. That’s me below…with DH. Sorry for the scowl! The sun was really in my eyes!

  3. If you don’t have it from those clues… this one should give it to you!

This Louis Vuitton red epi Montsouris backpack was made to celebrate the 700th year of the reign of the Grimaldi family. It has really fantastic embossing on the back of a crown, with the name of this wonderful little country (the second smallest independant nation in the world) with the dates 1297-1997. It also has the crown on the pocket zipper pull!
