Why Louis Vuitton doesn’t Di$count…

I thought this was an interesting quote from an interesting article, “The Economics of Discounting”:
“Discounting smacks of desperation,” says Liz Gunnison. “That’s why brands like Louis Vuitton and Apple don’t do it.”
Again, we can all say what we will about Louis Vuitton’s price increase policy- and about their not discounting- but who is not only weathering this economic storm- but thriving as if it doesn’t exist?
They’ll continue to raise prices as the dollar drops- and we’ll just keep paying. It’s just what we do ![]()
