OK, say what you will about , but I just think she’s a little cutie! I mean, look at that face! I just want to pinch those cheeks!

This is Anna at the Murakami x x ”. I’ve seen her carrying this particular piece before and I have to say I’m totally stumped by it.

What the heck is it? ? ? ? I really can’t say.

EDITED:  Just got a note from DeluxeDuck….  It looks like this is “the Monogram Perle Pochette from S/S 2000. the Monogram pattern is made up of tiny beads.”  It was in the fakes episode of Sex in the City- Samantha carried it… Check the comments below.  Thanks Duck :)

(FYI:  I’ve gotten a few emails on this- it’s not for sale, it was a “freebie” at the Brooklyn Museum Ball.  It has “Brooklyn Museum 2008″ embossed on the bottom.  Want one?  Check eBay :) )

Louis Vuitton’s Brooklyn Ball- a bargain at $75,000 a ticket

Alright, alright… so there were some cheap seats for a measly $1000… but it’s being reported that some tickets went up to $75,000 a piece! Wowzers, that Kanye must put on one heck of a show! ;)

Styles available at Brooklyn Museum’s Louis Vuitton store!

From the Brooklyn Museum of Art press release:

“A selection of Monogram Multicolor bags and small leather goods will be available for sale for the duration of the © exhibition. Styles for sale include the , , , , , Eugénie, and . Just as the MOCA store presented a number of limited-edition Monogram canvasses revisited by Takashi , the Brooklyn store will also offer a new version of these “Editioned Canvasses,” signed by the artist and sold as exclusive art products. The new version, called , is an exciting new pattern created by Takashi for , and gives viewers a glimpse of a bright new product line that will be launched at the Brooklyn Museum store on June 1 before being sold in selected stores worldwide. As the store may generate revenues, part of them will be donated to the Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation.”

Oh, so interesting.  So will the be just standard issue, or limited edition Brooklyn Museum specials?  We’ll have to see.

There’s a whole bunch of Murakami stuff on the Brooklyn Museum website- available now, but no .

Monogramouflage will actually be officially unveiled at ’s “Brooklyn Ball” launch party on April 3!
