Oh wow! Louis Vuitton Lover just posted this amazing Louis Vuitton Christmas Chest. It's a special ornament trunk- and I'm just dying over it!
This one's got me picturing little elves in the Louis Vuitton Workshop in Asnieres hammering away at each brass nail- working their hardest to get it done in time for Christmas- (cue your favorite Carol now!) Anyway- apparently there were only five of these things made. Wonder who's been nice this year?

Love the custom paint on Mischa Barton's Louis Vuitton keepall! (Her Graffiti pants command so much attention, that I almost missed the racing stripes & MB monogram!)
I'm a sucker for personalization. Remember these:

No, this isn't a spot from Louis Vuitton's award winning Core Values "Journeys" ad campaign... and I don't believe it was even shot by Annie Leibovitz. But it could have been!?!
Louis Vuitton has partnered up with Park-Hyatt... and this is the first fruit!
This is John Nollet- hair stylist for the stars, and the amazing bespoke monogram trunks that Louis Vuitton created specially for him- fitted for all things hair!

Nollet is the genius behind that amazing shock of black dreds on Johnny Depp's Captain Jack Sparrow! But he is most famous for being responsible for the Amelie bob!

So he's beginning a "Hair Room Service" tour, where he's spending 9 months in different Park Hyatt hotels around the world. Of course, for a tour like that- he'd need only the best in luxury luggage! And who does custom luggage like Louis Vuitton?

Read more about Nollet and his amazing tour here... Times Online
Pics from Park Hyatt and John Nollet's fab website!!! Be sure to CHECK IT OUT!!!

Wow! This collaboration totally kills it! How amazing...
What I love the most is that this is what Louis Vuitton has always done best. They started out doing custom trunks, and for the past 150+ years, the customization still looks very much like the original pieces. And don't get me wrong- I LOVE that.
But this is a totally modern twist on that... a set of luggage that fits the look and feel of the new Infiniti Essence. It's the historic, iconic Damier Monogram- but in the modern Graphite, and obviously sleek lines and look that mirror the car!
What do you think??? And who the heck is the lucky SN?

No, this isn't some trick math question... The Japanese car company, Infiniti has teamed up with Louis Vuitton for a set of custom to fit luggage for an extra special 20th Anniversary Concept Car.
The picture above is of Shiro Nakamura- Infiniti Design's Senior Vice President. He's picking up one of these custom Damier Graphite pieces from the Louis Vuitton Roppongi, Tokyo Boutique.

It will be released at on March 3 at the 2009 International Geneva Motor Show.
I love anything bespoke! Remember these custom fitted moogram Louis Vuitton pieces for Spyker Automobiles?

The Huffington Post's attributing Louis Vuitton's custom Damier Poker Set to "Embracing a Popular Recession Era Pastime". (Everything pointing to the down economy- even multi-thousand dollar game boards.)

I have no idea if that's what it's about- and I'm no gambler (have never played poker in my life). But this case is making me pine for a 'lil 'round the Christmas Tree family game of Texas Hold 'em!

Check out the mosaic flooring outside and out in the "Louis Vuitton Master Suite" of this "Villa La Grande Maison des Etoiles" that just sold for a record breaking $39 Million!

It's a 7 bedroom villa with not only serious ocean views, and several pools, but it has bedrooms designed in tribute to Louis Vuitton and Hermes.
Louis Vuitton has a policy against doing work like this... they don't do interior design or furniture. As Patrick-Louis Vuitton, explained, “We are in the business of movement." But, somehow, I don't think LVMH will mind. They seem picky about who they let make unauthorized use of their logos, and who they don't. (Think Kanye West and Ruben Studdard's monogram CD cases. Both unauthorized (KW's was years before he began working closely with LV) but only Studdard got sued.)

Yeah... so Julia was waiting for Jesse to get done taking pictures today, and I guess she was a little bored. Luckily, Hermes still has the "Make your own Kelly" pattern and directions on the Hermes.com website.

So, she whipped up the little paper Kelly above! Jesse was still taking pictures when she'd finished, so I had him snap one of her adorable creation for me to share!
