I wanted to pick one person to profile here... but what the heck.  The Louis Vuitton Monogram Pegase really is the travel bag of choice for our Hollywood neighbors.  We've got David Beckham and Posh, Hilary Duff, Cameron Diaz, Jessica Simpson, Catherine McPhee, Paris Hilton, Nicole Simpson, and Rachel Zoe... but honestly, I could have gone on... I just didn't want to make the pictures any smaller.  Really, they're all carrying it.

So, why is the Pegase so often the luggage choice for celebrities?

1)  It's a Rolling Suitcase (need I say more?)

2)  It's roomy, and structured

Who Wears it Better? Hilary Duff or Sara Jessica Parker’s Louis Vuitton Limelight

It's interesting because Hilary Duff and Sara Jessica Parker have totally different styles, are different ages, and wear their Louis Vuitton limelight way differently. I mean, it hardly looks like the same bag.

Hilary wears her copper Limelight like a clutch- but folded over and polished.

But, if you didn't know what you were looking at- you could mistake SJP's bag for a crumpled up sack.

I like the softness of this light, quilt-y bag- but I personally wouldn't wear it like that. It's interesting, because I have several pictures of Sara Jessica Parker with her Limelight- and she wears it in a similar way in all my pics. I mean, it looks like you can not only see all her stuff- but that, it's gonna tip over and we're going to see the contents pictured in next weeks US Weekly.

I'm going with Hilary on this one.  I think she looks put together, but also fun, fresh and interesting.  What do you think?

Who Wears it Better? Audrey or Hilary’s Louis Vuitton Speedy 25

I know... I know... it's just plain mean to even put up the question.

But isn't it cool to see how the Classic Louis Vuitton Monogram Speedy 25 has weathered the test of time? I mean, Audrey Hepburn looks like the epitome of the fashion icon that she was/is- in a picture that was taken long before I was born... And then, there's Hilary Duff... just last year, with the same bag, and looking stylin' as ever!

It just goes to show- this is one bag that you can buy today... care for it well, and then break it out in a decade or so, and still look hot! You can't say that about most bags!

Hilary loves to add a shocking splash of "wow" to her solid black outfits, doesn't she. That's Hilary with her copper Louis Vuitton Limelight. It's a good look for her, don't you think?

OK... Hilary has good days and bad days (like any of us don't!).  But does she ROCK (wasn't that voted one of the most overused words of 2007?) the Olympe Nimbus GM or what?  I love her look here head to toe!

The idea behind the Olympe bags is the essence of Greek mythology.  I, of course was thinking Physical Science 101- you know, Cirrus, Nimbus & Stratus...  But I was only partly right.  When you look at the Nimbus in particular, are you thinking hazy, smokey clouds covering the ancient Greek Mount Olympe and it's Gods?  Good!  That's the goal!
