Just days after shooting his new video with the help of Kanye West and Rihanna, JayZ was out in his brand spanking new Louis Vuitton Don's in grey and white.
Looks like he & Kanye are Besties ... on and off the stage, in the studio, or on the runway! Love that they back each other's work.
Kanye knocked it out of the park with this collection! If Steeze is style and ease- then Kanye must be Steezy! Style + Yeezy!!!!

So, GQ gives Kanye an award for being one of the top 10 most stylish men in America.
And Kanye shows up for the shoot with Louis Vuitton Stephen Sprouse pink graffiti leggings around his neck- as a scarf.
Something tells me if I showed up at a shoot with leggings around my neck, they'd be calling me something... but stylish wouldn't be a word that would come up. No question about it, I just couldn't pull it off.

So this is Kanye West and MJ at the Louis Vuitton men's show.
Yet again, MJ sporting what my 8 year old calls "skorts". They're a little bit skirt and a little bit short.
I love that Marc Jacobs is doing all he can to single handedly make "Skorts For Men" cool. Think about it. When do you see MJ in anything BUT skorts lately? You dont'! I mean, I think it really is a little personal campaign to bring SFM to the mainstream. I mean, skorts for women (girls over the age of my 8 year old) just aren't cool at all. In fact, off the tennis court, they're pretty much the opposite of cool. So, I wish him luck!
You gotta hand it to the guy though- he's totally going for it... and I love that!

Well, Kanye and a line-up of men in the Louis Vuitton Fashion Show in Paris were sporting the sneakers that he gave us a preview of not too long ago. Apparently, that's all we're gonna see for now.

If you watch this video from ConsTV, you'll see a second pair of Kanye's Louis Vuitton Sneaks. These ones are called... wait for it... "Louis Vuitton Dons"!!!
But first- couple things... first, I started watching this with my 5 year old sitting next to me- and well, don't say I didn't warn you about the language.
Second. It's interesting, because I'd wondered who owned the SO Red Epi Christopher backpack that Don C blogged about a while back, saying "None B4 None 2 Come" and that Kanye mentioned in the Vanity Fair Best Dressed, when he said of his:
"Favorite fashion purchase of 2008: “A special-order red Epi leather Christopher backpack from Louis Vuitton.”
Anyway... that whole question gets cleared up in the clip.
Yep... as I suggested earlier, the first pair of kicks that we saw were reminiscent of a pair of Sperry Topsiders. These look more like lace-up vans. I do like the tall heel on the back though. In the vid, Kanye shows how they keep your jeans from dragging. My 5 year old needs some of that!
They aren't coming out till this June... but Kanye's giving us a little preview of a pair of sneakers he's designed for Louis Vuitton. (There's five more coming...)
Funny, before seeing a close-up, I was thinking his trainers were a Keds/ lace-up Van's hybrid. But, now I'm getting a major Sperry Topsider vibe. He's obviously digging this look. What do you think?

He says they are. They look more like a Keds X lace-up Vans collaboration than a Kanye West X Louis Vuitton collaboration! But maybe he's just pulling our collective legs, or maybe there's more to see than what we see here.

You may have seen Kanye's relatively new video for Heartless.
It uses a process called rotoscoping where artists take regular video film footage and basically trace and draw each image frame by frame.
I thought it was interesting that Heartless has a bunch of the scenes rotoscoped in Kanye's real house. (Check out more pictures of his place in Interior Design Mag.) The picture on the above left is a rotoscope of the picture on the right- a shot taken inside one of the rooms in Kanye's Los Angeles house.
Interesting that Kanye's vintage Damier trunk came rotoscoped borderline Azur! And maybe the artist's a vegetarian? Notice that one of my mom's old favorites Campbell's "Hot Dog Bean" soup was replaced by Vegetable!
