Unreal! So I’ve been reading all about the Hollywood Hills cat burglars- who cased and robbed the homes of a bunch of local celebrities including Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and maybe even Orlando Bloom and Megan Fox!
Well, it looks like they didn’t bring their own bags for the capers. Duh! I guess why do that when they’ve got their pick of hot designer bags to pick from? The image above is just SOME of Paris Hilton’s jewelry that they heisted- and the Louis Vuitton Monogramouflage Keepall that they carried it all in!
Scary!

No more dinner at the Ivy. Looks like Sienna’s ex- Balthazar Getty is going the for the traditional bachelor style dinner- pizza. But, is he all wrapped up in Sienna’s Takashi Murakami for Louis Vuitton Monogramouflage scarf as well?
Everyone knows that Sienna loves a good scarf- and they seem to catch on with the men in her life as well. Remember Rhys Ifan borrowing her Louis Vuitton Stephen Sprouse Scarf when they were dating? Hmmm… wonder if she ever got it back?

But you don’t have to be a Sienna ex to get a hot, super limited authentic Louis Vuitton scarf! We’re all out of the Monogramouflage one for now, but if you love the Louis Vuitton Stephen Sprouse Leopard Cashmere Scarf that everyone’s wearing… be sure to check our store!

Hmmm… well, we’ve got Trina on the left at the BET Awards on the 24th or Rihanna at Da Silvano in the West Village last Friday?
Dang it, I mean… you know how I have a hard time with this- I really don’t want to be mean. And, well, Trina’s a cute girl and is it really fair to put her next to Rihanna in black leather (or is it latex?) that makes her legs go on, like foreverrrrr?
Rihanna’s just looking so amazing- and the Louis Vuitton Monogramouflage really stands out on her black from top to toe outfit.
I actually like Trina’s dress (although I’d wear it a few inches longer) and she looks great. Can I really blame the poor girl for being excited to get her new Monogramouflage bag out there? But, I’m going with Rihanna on this one… Camo’s just not working for me with the yellow.
What do you think?

(Monogramouflage Trellis Tote & Stole Scarf…)

(Sweet Dog Tag…)

Love the two quotes Harper’s Bazaar chose to include in their June 2008 Hottest, Newest, Latest article on Louis Vuitton’s Monogramouflage…
From Takashi:
“The shop project is not part of the exhibition. Rather it is the heart of the exhibition itself.”
Re: the Louis Vuitton X Murakami X MJ collaboration from MJ:
“the monumental marriage of art and commerce”
… so Warhol!

(Louis Vuitton Monogramouflage Keepall 55 $1930)
Yep, the long awaited Louis Vuitton X Marc Jacobs X Takashi Murakami X Monogram X Camouflage mashup has arrived.
Louis Vuitton Monogramouflage lauched at the Brooklyn Museum of Art Preview Party Friday night. If you didn’t get one Sunday, you’ll have to wait till Wednesday, as the museum is closed Monday and Tuesday.
Unless of course you want to pay twice up to twice retail on eBay.
Patience is a virtue… they’ll be available at a Boutique near you for the masses June 15.

(My Monogramouflage version of Just Jared’s pic of Jennifer)
It’s total speculation, and I could be way off here- but I’m interested!
Howard Gesler of the Philadelphia Tattler* has seen the new Sex and the City movie (to be released May 30) and dishes out a few tidbits without ruining the story.
I thought this in particular was interesting:
“Hudson, a purse-a-holic, wants the Louis Vuitton bag she carries in the movie.
“I’m hoping if you guys write about it, I can get it,” she said. So the Vuitton bag would be at the height of fashion; “Sex and the City” filmmakers got the first one ever made.”
Hmmm, if not monogramouflage… any thoughts?

Don’t let my kids see this one. They’ll just see the cute little monkeys (baby Milo specifically) and not the fact that although may retail for $165, it’s sold out. So good luck catching one for anywhere near that price. The only one available right now on eBay is selling for $550!
Wonder what Louis Vuitton thinks of the inspiration? I know they didn’t like the Burlington Coat Factory Murakami inspired bags.
Maybe since Nigo (Bathing Ape founder) collaborated with Pharrell Williams on the Louis Vuitton Millionaires Sunnies- AND since Louis Vuitton’s new Monogramouflage is clearly “inspired by” Bape Camouflage… AND since Nigo is tight with Takashi Murakami and Kanye West… AND finally, since the DS isn’t a purse- Louis Vuitton will look the other way.
