Unreal! So I've been reading all about the Hollywood Hills cat burglars- who cased and robbed the homes of a bunch of local celebrities including Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and maybe even Orlando Bloom and Megan Fox!
Well, it looks like they didn't bring their own bags for the capers. Duh! I guess why do that when they've got their pick of hot designer bags to pick from? The image above is just SOME of Paris Hilton's jewelry that they heisted- and the Louis Vuitton Monogramouflage Keepall that they carried it all in!
It really doesn't get much more obnoxious than this. I guess the only thing more obnoxious than Paris carrying her new "Chewy Vuiton" dog bed on the streets of Robertson is the fact that it's all over the internets that this is a not a doggie bag at all, but a over-the-top tote bag!

This poor woman's been put through the ringer and seems to have come out of it with her sanity intact. Good for her.

I wanted to pick one person to profile here... but what the heck. The Louis Vuitton Monogram Pegase really is the travel bag of choice for our Hollywood neighbors. We've got David Beckham and Posh, Hilary Duff, Cameron Diaz, Jessica Simpson, Catherine McPhee, Paris Hilton, Nicole Simpson, and Rachel Zoe... but honestly, I could have gone on... I just didn't want to make the pictures any smaller. Really, they're all carrying it.
So, why is the Pegase so often the luggage choice for celebrities?

Here we've got Paris Hilton and Christina Ricci both carrying the Louis Vuitton Irvine. OK, I know it's not really fair to pit a candid shot against a catalog pic... but hear me out.
So Paris' is a candid picture. Probably one of hundreds taken by paparazzi that day. But she looks fantastic... and I really love her choice in bags. The Louis Vuitton Irvine really completes the look and complements her dress.
And, what can you say... Christina looks AMAZING in this Louis Vuitton ad for the F/W 2004 Velour Irvine. Really. Just stunning. Overall, I do just love Ricci here- and I love her hair, her dress, her look and the whole feel of the layout... and I think the Irvine was the perfect choice- to accent that feel.
But... it's a photo shoot. We've got some serious photoshop going on here, and lighting, and costuming, etc.
I really love Christina's layout, but I'm going with Paris on this one...

I have a hard time calling it for the Hilton sisters- because poor Jessica is clearly just out picking up some milk at Ralphs. And, I think we can all agree that the black hair phase was never a good one for Ashley.
I'm going to have to go with Nikky Hilton here. She's looking so good it doesn't matter that Paris is wearing Dr. Pepper sweats.
OK... I've been watching the whole Paris Hilton/ Benji Madden publicity stunt unfold. And I've been wanting to post on Paris' monogram Louis Vuitton beanie... but I just kept staring at Benji. He has been looking so familiar to me lately! Well, doing my last blog, it came to me- like a flash of inspiration! He's looking more and more like the Classic newer, pudgy Boy George! From his choice in head-gear, to his all black clothes, and preferred foot-ware! (Yes, I did match that arrow with BG's fabulous eyeshadow!)
(My sister Emily and bro-in-law Ben were driving down Canon a couple days ago here in Beverly Hills, and Paris & Benji crossed the road in front of them. Emily almost didn't recognize her- because she was totally dressed like him... but they were being followed by a Paparazzi (single one- interestingly enough) and so made sure to get a good look!)
Hmmm... so here we go. You know I always feel kind of bad playing this game- especially when one "player" obviously looks better than the other. But this one I can do!

I'm definitely more into Keeping up with Kim on this one. Her Juicy track suit looks great with her skin-tone AND all the pinks in the multicolore. That Keepall is striking and the vachetta looks fresh.
Paris looks like she needs an upgrade. I know it's a dark picture, but the leather on her bag looks like it's been around the block a couple of times. (Which I guess makes sense, for Paris' luggage.) We'd love to help her out!
