Stephen Sprouse Louis Vuitton Graffiti Rose

We'll I gotta say, I didn't think we'd get one so quickly... but thanks so much, you know who you are!

The Louis Vuitton Stephen Sprouse Rose Graffiti Neverfull is my favorite of all of the Sprouse Tribute Collection.  This is partially because the Rose Graffiti is just a contradiction- in that it is beautiful- and yet defacing.  Love that!!!  And partially, because like the "Murakami Hands", the Neverfull is just a great Canvas!  A nice, big billboard for some pretty art!

Take a look at our brand spanking new, authentic Louis Vuitton Stephen Sprouse Graffiti Rose Neverfull MM!  I love her!

Soho Louis Vuitton Graffiti

Well, they're wrapping up the Louis Vuitton Soho Boutique quite nicely for the new Stephen Sprouse collection release, exhibit and party!  WWD's saying the collection is released today at the Soho boutique and worldwide on February 2.  Keep your eyes on eBay- you know you'll see them there in a flash!

Now that Graffiti is so dang cool, what are all the anarchists and other rebel rousers gonna do to make a statement?

For a refresher on "Who is Stephen Sprouse?"  Check out my old blog post on it!

Agyness Deyn Mini Graffiti

I did... and it's not up yet- but welovesprouse.com is supposed to go live today.

Nitrolicious just posted some new shots of the revisited Graffiti line- including the one of Agyness Deyn above.  The mini graffiti covers a lot more of the Monogram than the old school Graffiti did.  Can't wait to see it IRL!

Graffiti Marc Jacobs nude

Yep... I didn't get that backwards-  Marc Jacobs said re this collection:

“I tried to take what Stephen had done at Vuitton and then kind of flip it in my head, and make it Vuitton’s work for Stephen, not Stephen’s work for Vuitton."

So looking forward to a cool spread coming out in January's Harper's Bazaar.   Included will be the shot above of MJ in the buck with his pink fluro Stephen Sprouse Louis Vuitton Graffiti Keepall covering his "naughty bits".  Terry Richardson took the pics (the photog who's into private parts, who shot Madonna's LV pics a couple weeks ago).  Apparently, Jacobs took some full monty shots that landed on the cutting room floor!

Sorry, but I'm so not feeling the graffiti ears!  Oh, I'm laughing... if that's that's the point- but not with her, if you know what I mean.

Stephen Sprouse Graffiti Keepall

So there's pink, green and orange- and according to WWD, you'll find it in the:

"Keepall, Speedy and Neverfull bag styles, as well as basketball sneaker boots, pumps, sunglasses, headbands and wristbands, and small leather goods like wallets and coin purses. The rtw includes a mackintosh raincoat with a graffiti and monogram lining, graffiti leggings and a long-sleeve neon minidress featuring the rose design."

Stephen Sprouse Day Glo Graffiti Louis Vuitton

This is giving me serious junior high flashbacks!!!

Stephen Sprouse passed away in 2004, but is he going to let a little obstacle like death get in the way of releasing blockbuster designs?  Not Sprouse!

So once again, Marc Jacobs is acting in his proxy.  He's bringing back the classic 2001 Louis Vuitton Graffiti line- but this time in Glow in the Dark orange, pink and green.  Read more about which pieces are making the day-glo cut in Excess Baggage.  (Notice his speculation that the kicks in the picture above might be the product of the much anticipated Kanye West's LV men's shoe collaboration.  Looks perfect for his Glow in the Dark Tour!)

Can't wait to see the limited to one SS X LV skateboard deck and case which will be auctioned off for charity!

Anyway, you don't have to wait long to pick up your own Louis Vuitton day-glo piece!  The line's coming out January 9, 2009 in conjunction with the Deitch "Rock on Mars" Sprouse retrospective exhibition.

Getty Balthazar Monogramouflage Scarf

No more dinner at the Ivy.  Looks like Sienna's ex- Balthazar Getty is going the for the traditional bachelor style dinner- pizza.  But, is he all wrapped up in Sienna's Takashi Murakami for Louis Vuitton Monogramouflage scarf as well?

Everyone knows that Sienna loves a good scarf- and they seem to catch on with the men in her life as well.  Remember Rhys Ifan borrowing her Louis Vuitton Stephen Sprouse Scarf when they were dating?  Hmmm... wonder if she ever got it back?

Sienna Miller Scarf Stephen Sprouse Leopard

But you don't have to be a Sienna ex to get a hot, super limited authentic Louis Vuitton scarf!  We're all out of the Monogramouflage one for now, but if you love the Louis Vuitton Stephen Sprouse Leopard Cashmere Scarf that everyone's wearing... be sure to check our store!

Sofia Coppola Louis Vuitton Stephen Sprouse leopard scarf
(Sofia in the Louis Vuitton Stephen Sprouse leopard print scarf)

Well, I guess this confirms the rumor.

The Times Online Fashion Department asked Sophia why she agreed to do the Annie Leobovitz X Louis Vuitton Core Values- Journeys ad spot with her father Francis Ford Coppola:

I liked the ad Annie shot with Keith Richards. It was flattering to be asked. Plus I've known Marc Jacobs since I was 18. We had mutual friends and started hanging out together. I remember asking my mom to take me to see Perry Ellis when he was designing there. I still have a box of clothes from that grunge collection somewhere. It's great to work with Annie - she did a good portfolio on the set of Marie Antoinette. She just selects one picture and then shows it to you. But I think that's good. My dad and I were both like, yeah, whatever you want, this is your shoot. On your own set you want it exactly your own way, but we can get with someone else's vision too.

and:

Obviously I love Marc Jacobs and Acne jeans which I wear all the time. Today I'm wearing a little knitted dress from See by Chloé, flat wedges from Louboutin. Really I should be wearing Vuitton, but I'm actually not that into status, although I have a little LV duffle bag that I travel with.

Louis Vuitton Stephen Sprouse Graffiti

Marc Jacobs spoke to the London's Central Saint Martins College this week and gave some really great insights to his fabulous life.  I thought this little snippet on his Louis Vuitton /Stephen Sprouse collabration from WWD was particularly interesting:

"I don't understand corporate people — I always say the design team's on the second floor and the corporate people are on the fifth floor, and it might as well be the distance between here and Mars," said Jacobs, relating the difficulties of getting his Stephen Sprouse monogram collection for Louis Vuitton in spring 2001 into production, after Vuitton's management team at the time was reluctant to endorse the reworked logo. "The press reaction to all that graffiti was so amazing...[but] they bitched and moaned, [saying] 'we're not going to do it'. I just couldn't believe it...at the time, that's how narrow minded they were...[but] $300 million later, they think it's a good idea!"
