Again, I got a great question from one of our buyers- and it’s one I’ve heard before in different forms, and so, I thought write a blog on the subject.

Here’s the question:

Dear Fashionphile,

I was just wondering if the Cabas Piano with no seams on the bottom of the leather comes with the zippered pocket inside? I was looking through your photophile, and the one with seams had a zipper, and the one without seams had no zipper. I purchased one from you with no seams and a zipper.

Such a great question!!!

The Louis Vuitton Cabas Piano came out in 2000 (the Mezzo and Alto in 1999). When it was first released, the base looked like this:
