We now offer drop offs for quoted items at select Neiman Marcus locations! Simply select the drop off option on your Ship List and follow the on-screen instructions. Note that this option will only be visible and available for sellers within 100 miles of participating Neiman Marcus locations. For drop offs at participating Neiman Marcus locations, payment is issued once the item is received back at FASHIONPHILE and authenticated.
Yes. We accept a limited selection of designer shoes. They must be in like-new, unworn condition and must have a minimum resale value of $300.

As part of this partnership, FASHIONPHILE and Neiman Marcus are launching new ways for both buyers and sellers to more easily participate in resale. Customers are now able to pick up FASHIONPHILE orders and drop off their luxury items at select Neiman Marcus locations. In addition, we have expanded payment options for sellers, including a 10% bonus for those who opt to receive payment in Neiman Marcus gift cards.

You have thirty (30) days to accept or reject quotes from FASHIONPHILE, at which time the offer will expire. Once a quote has expired, you will need to resubmit your item on our quote request form
. We request that you do not submit the same item more than one time in a 30 day period, regardless of which account you use.
Seller attests all item(s) being sold to FASHIONPHILE are authentic. If any item is found to be not authentic, FASHIONPHILE will return the item to the seller upon payment of an Authentication Fee of $75, or $125 if the item is an Hermes Birkin or Kelly. Seller agrees to return any and all funds issued for such item(s) to FASHIONPHILE.

It is our goal to issue payments as soon as possible, which is why FASHIONPHILE issues Buyout payments on a daily basis and Consignment payments twice per week.
Buyout payments are processed after the item has been received and certified for authenticity by FASHIONPHILE. Note that authentication may take one or several days, depending on the brand.
Payment is processed for Consignment items after the item has been purchased and delivered to the buyer.

FASHIONPHILE buyers conduct research and utilize proprietary tools to determine pricing. Data including recent sales of comparable items, the retail value, condition and rarity of the item, our historic sales, as well as current fashion trends inform the offers developed by our team.
No. We are not accepting womens or mens shirts, pants, jackets or skirts at this time.
We do! Under our VIP Concierge service, sellers in select zip codes within NYC and North County San Diego can opt-in for a pickup on qualifying items. Simply select the VIP option on your Ship List when you accept our quote, and your personal VIP Concierge will get in touch to schedule a time that works best for you.
Although walk-ins are always welcome, we want to ensure that you receive the level of service you deserve and recommend making an appointment. Selling appointments are based on how many items you are selling. On average, each item takes approximately 10 minutes to assess and authenticate and sellers like you walk out with same day pay. Some items, including Hermés Birkin and Kelly bags, as well as fine jewelry and watches may take a little longer to process and/or require additional review in our Carlsbad location. Our goal is to give you the most accurate and competitive offer during your appointment
Absolutely! After you have accepted the quote and agreed to the terms and conditions, you may print the ship list and ship your items to us using any courier you wish. Unfortunately, FASHIONPHILE does not cover the cost of International shipping. All shipping costs will be paid by you as the buyer. Please note that U.S. Customs duties and/or taxes are based on a percentage of the declared value. On occasion, the government will assess a higher value upon inspection of the shipment. If any customs fees are incurred, FASHIONPHILE will pay the fees upfront and split the total fees with you 50-50. Your 50% of the total fees would simply be deducted from your issued payment.
We offer free insured domestic shipping for any items you send to FASHIONPHILE for consignment or Buyout within the continental United States. Once your quote submissions have been accepted by FASHIONPHILE, you may select either the free UPS or FedEx inbound label to ship your items to us. Print the label, along with your Ship List, for your FASHIONPHILE shipment.
Shipments sent from outside the continental U.S. such as Alaska or Hawaii must have a minimum of $1000 in quoted value to be eligible to print a free shipping label.
If you ship items to FASHIONPHILE using your own choice of shipping method, we require that you use signature confirmation with the carrier you choose. All shipments sent by your alternative choice of shipping method are not reimbursed by FASHIONPHILE.
Alternatively, you may drop items off directly at our Beverly Hills, San Francisco, Carlsbad or New York showrooms.
Some items may sell within hours of being listed and fly off the shelf! However, other items may take weeks to sell. On average, handbags sell between 2 weeks to 2 months from the time it is listed for sale on FASHIONPHILE.
After submitting your item through our online submission form, you will receive an email providing you with a Buyout offer or a consignment estimate. Consignment estimates are our best guess at what you will make when the item sells. These estimates are based on the average sale price of similar items, and their accuracy is limited by the quality and quantity of pictures and information provided in your initial request. Please be advised, consignment estimates are not guaranteed and are subject to change without notice once the item has been received and evaluated.
In contrast to our Buyout model where we buy the item(s) from you upfront, consignment is when you receive a percentage of the sale price after your fabulous item has sold and ships out to its new home. All consignment items are the property of the Consignor until they are sold.
Yes. Fashionphile items may be discounted in accordance with the following schedule:
- If unsold after 30 days item(s) will be discounted 10%
- If unsold after 60 days item(s) will be discounted 20%
- If unsold after 90 days item(s) will be discounted 30%
As the Supplier of a consignment, you will receive 70% of any individual item with a sale price below $3,000, and 85% of any amount above the initial $3,000. For example, on a consignment that sells for $3,200, the Supplier will receive $2,270.
If a Supplier decides to terminate the consignment agreement before the end of the term, an early termination fee of $75, or $125 if the item is an Hermes Birkin or Kelly Bag, will apply per item returned.
The majority of FASHIONPHILE Consignment items sell before the 90-day consignment term ends. However, if an item remains unsold, FASHIONPHILE will contact you to discuss keeping it available for sale at a reduced price or returning the item to you. Please note that FASHIONPHILE sells thousands of items on consignment and only a few items have been returned due to inability to sell.
FASHIONPHILE offers to Buyout your item(s) and issues payment to you upfront vs. when your item(s) sells (in the case of a Consignment Item). After authenticating and appraising an item's value, FASHIONPHILE will typically offer a buyout price between 50% and 70% of the item's resale value. All items sold to FASHIONPHILE as a Buyout are final once payment has been issued.
The 70% BuyBack Program applies to most items purchased from FASHIONPHILE. However, it does not include shoes, sunglasses, and items originally priced under $300.
Additionally, the BuyBack Program does not include Items that have suffered excessive wear or damage after their purchase from FASHIONPHILE.
After purchasing an item from us you will see a "Sell Back" link in your FASHIONPHILE Account for 180 days. Simply click the "Sell Back" link, print the ship list and free shipping label, and ship your BuyBack item(s) to us! Payment will then be processed within 48 hours of receipt of your item.
Items purchased from FASHIONPHILE may be sold back to FASHIONPHILE for 70% of the item's purchase price within 180 days of the purchase date. It is a fabulous way to continue your handbag journey, reuse and recycle! Saving the earth one handbag at a time!
