The House of Fendi began as a small leather goods shop in Rome’s Via del Plebiscito in the year 1925. In an interview with Bloomberg Business, Fendi CEO Pietro Beccari explained the impetus for the company’s philanthropic gesture: “It’s about tying us with a city that makes millions of people dream.” The Fendi of today is an internationally acclaimed fashion house with over 160 found in 25 countries. Fendi handbags have been seen draped over the arm of celebrities like Reese Witherspoon, Kendall Jenner, Rita Ora, and Naomi Campbell. The brand is also known for its ready-to-wear and fur collections as well as its leather handbags, shoes, fragrances, eyewear, watches, and other accessories.
