"The Evelyne crossbody bag was originally developed in 1978 strictly for equestrian purposes. It wasn’t until the beginning of the 2000s that this style was reimagined into a handbag for everyday use. The design was inspired by the bags people wore to carry horse grooming products. The perforated ‘H’ logo is an ode to the perforated elements on the original horse grooming bags intended to help air out the brushes and other tools.
